Widely known as the front man of Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers, Ben Caplan is a folk musician and vocalist whose distinctive raspy, rugged voice and powerful lyrics bridge together the realms of composition and raw emotion. Alternating between guitar, banjo, melodica and piano, his live shows offer a range of tones from blues-infused ballads to gypsy-inspired anthems.

"Grounded" redefines what it means to be an office "drone" in the 21st century. In this award-winning play from George Brant ("Elephant's Graveyard", "The Royal Historian of Oz"), an unexpected pregnancy clips the wings of a hotshot female F-16 pilot. Reassigned to flying remote-controlled drones over Afghanistan, the "pilot" leads a surreal double existence. By day, she hunts terrorists remotely from an air-conditioned trailer near Las Vegas. At night, she comes face-to-face with her duties as a wife and mother. Named a Top 10 Play of 2013 by "The Guardian" and the "London Evening Standard", "Grounded" transforms the work-life balance debate into a matter of life and death in the digital age. This Central Square Theater production stars Celeste Oliva, who was named Best Actress 2013 by "Boston Magazine".
