David Nail: I'm A Fire Tour
    Cain's BallroomOctober 30, 2014 7:00 PM
    423 North Main Street
    Tulsa, OK 74103
Born and raised in Missouri, David Nail was presented with several offers to play baseball in college but chose to turn them down in the hopes of pursuing a music career. He moved to Nashville to explore his love of county music and was signed to MCA Nashville in 2002, when he released his self-titled debut album. Nail's music is very reflective of contemporary country styles, with lap-steel acoustic ballads as well as more uptempo, rock and roll-influenced tracks populating his albums. On his 2007 album, I'm About to Come Alive, Nail branched out to work some big names in the country music world, including Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts.

    Mountain Sprout
    The ShrineOctober 30, 2014 9:00 PM
    112 East 18th Street
    Tulsa, OK 74119
Creating a unique style of music that is often referred to as hillbilly music, Mountain Sprout is a group from Arkansas composed of four musicians who are intent on creating songs with floor stompin' rhythms fit for for a barn dance or old fashioned hootenanny. After playing in various incarnations the quartet made a pact in 2006 to make a go at being a professional band and with adept fiddle, banjo, stand-up bass and guitar arrangements, Mountain Sprout has managed to keep busy, stay on the road and play upwards of 200 shows a year. Because of the uniqueness of the band's sonic aesthetic, Mountain Sprout's fame has tended to stay in the Southern and Appalachia Mountain regions of the United States, which has helped the group's music achieve a localized flair that's foreign to many metropolitan hubs or city slicker dwellings.

    3509 S Peoria Ave
    Tulsa, OK 74105
Gary Bowling paints landscapes with such ease as if he creates nature with his hands. Take a virtual walk into the woods with blue skies, lush green trees, lakes and countryside cottages to keep company. Gary avoids central themes or characters in his paintings in an attempt not to narrow viewer's approach down to a particular thing. Gallery is closed on Sunday and Monday.
