Based in Dallas, Memphis May Fire is a post-hardcore band that injects a concentrated dosage of Southern rock into its sound. After releasing its eponymous debut album in 2007 and building up a following within the local alternative rock scene, Memphis May Fire broke through into a national audience with its 2010 EP, Between The Lies. With a more aggressive combination of melodic metal, electronica and Southern rock, the record paved the way for the band's critically acclaimed sophomore LP The Hollow, which was released via Rise Records in 2011.
When Single Mothers formed in 2009, the London, Ontario-based band set out to create loud catchy music and has since evolved into a punk rock/post hardcore outfit. With fast rhythm guitar, melodic lead guitar, raunchy lyrics and a punk rock ethic, the band released its debut EP, Wild Party, in 2010 followed by its 2011 effort, the S/T EP.

The Black Belles is a "garage goth" rock band from Nashville, Tennessee that is being regarded as one of the most interesting up-and-coming garage acts in quite some time. Discovered by Jack White, of The Raconteurs and White Stripes fame, The Black Belles is doing much to bring the allure of the goth style and music into the garage rock genre. Although the band has yet to prove itself substantially on the national stage, The Black Belles have already made a big step with a recent performance on the hugely popular Colbert Report in 2011.

Based out of Hartford, Connecticut, but drawing heavily on the various band members' roots in the South and Midwest, Bronze Radio Return attempts to emulate the bronze (or golden) era of radio, as one could surmise from the band name. The result is fairly simple, heartland rock-inspired Americana with indie rock flourishes and an air of sweet ingenuousness. While the six-piece might not be progressing its genre of choice, Bronze Radio Return is evidently alright with this, aiming solely to emit the warmth of forgotten times and simpler days.
