Motion City Soundtrack is an American pop punk band from Minneapolis, MN that has undergone numerous transformations, with both its sound and its members, since its formation in 1997. Heavily influenced by early 1990s rock, the creates synthy punk-laced indie music that often leans towards a more pop-heavy style. The combination of soft and hard has proven to be commercially lucrative from the band's 2003 debut album I Am the Movie, to 2007's Even If It Kills Me.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane sports program includes the intramural and extramural sports teams of the University of Tulsa. Before adopting the name Golden Hurricanes in 1922, the University of Tulsa had many unofficial team nicknames, including the Kendallites, the Presbyterians, the Tulsans and the Tigers. The teams play in the NCAA Division I as part of Conference USA.

Mike Dillon Band
Mike Dillon is a percussionist, vocalist and bandleader from New Orleans who has played with various bands in addition to serving as front man of modern jazz outfits including Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle and The Mike Dillon Band. After forming the funk-centric band Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle in 2006, he released the band's debut album, Battery Milk, in 2007 and also continued to play music from the catalogs of his previous projects and collaborate with a diverse range of musicians. In 2012, Dillon founded The Mike Dillon Band and released its first effort, Urn, in 2012 with a fusion sound of free jazz and punk rock.
