The USF Theatre 2 in Tampa, Florida, is the 2nd of the two theaters in the University and is extremely popular among the students and the locals of the city. The theater has been host to several famous stars such as Bill Hollman with Jazz Surge, Turtle Island String Quartet, Jim Mcneely with Jazz Surge. The ambience at the theater is comfortable and the seating is spacious. Do remember cameras, phones, beepers, snacks are not allowed in the premises and you would want to check if your kids are allowed for the show before getting them along.
The Pegasus Lounge, located near Busch Gardens, is the premier location for late night entertainment that consists of original live music. The lounge has a diversified menu of tunes from hard rock, goth-industrial and hardcore rap to acoustic folk music. Whatever your favorite genre, you will hear it at the Pegasus. There is plenty of talent available with 60 bands making their way on stage each month. The full service bar ensures plenty of choices when it comes to beers on tap, bottles, and imports. The University of South Florida Music Recital Hall, is located in the city of Tampa. This facility isn't too large and can hold around 300 people during events. The lighting and ambience at the hall aren't too fancy, but decent enough for one to enjoy the show. Various world famous musicians have performed at this venue and it is popular among the locals, because the prices are quite affordable.
Theatre 1 at the University Of South Florida in Tampa, is an extremely popular place, when it comes to watching a play. The theater has excellent facilities, the atmosphere is friendly and the seating is spacious and comfortable. The Marshall Student Center Ballroom is an enigmatic room, filled with poetry and grace. The ballroom is generally used for wedding receptions and other classy events. The room has a capacity to hold two hundred guests, thus, making it a place for big events and giving you the chance to use the rooms and space comfortably. University Area Community Center Complex, is more into social service and health-care services. Although, it does conduct workshops and seminars that cover varies issues. Special workshops for kids and women are organized too. This center is also rented out for gatherings and other social events. Apart from the regular classes in cheer-leading, karate sessions are conducted for kids and adults as well.
For a day of family fun, Terrace Sports is the place to go. The center offers a full spectrum of games including exciting laser tag complete with strobes, sirens, and fog and bowling on solid wood lanes. A full arcade of challenging and interactive games will keep you busy or relax and take in a flick at the HD movie lounge. For food, there is plenty to choose from including Florida gator tail, buffalo and ostrich burgers, pizzas, and wings along with cool smoothies and select wines.
