Welcome to the most visited and most famous nightclub in Stockholm! A luxurious and international vibe with a mixed crowd is what you will find here. The exotic allure of the Orient merges effortlessly with the calm order of Scandinavian cool. With different events, parties and clubs, Kharma manages to have great action all year around.
Located near Stureplan, StureCompagniet has a renowned reputation as one of the hottest places to party in Stockholm. It offers a wide selection of bars to choose from, spanning three floors. It has a small rock bar for metal fans, a cool jazz bar on the second floor, and a glass-ceiling dance floor in the center of the building. On weekends, expect to wait in a long queue to get inside.
Located underneath under Sturecompagniet in the luxurious Stureplan area, Hell's Kitchen is the go-to late night club. Most of the other clubs in the area close at 3a, but Hell's Kitchen keeps the party going until 5a. The music is mostly mainstream house amidst this internationally themed interior club. Not only is this club exclusive in terms of the cost of getting inside, the minimum age to enter is 23 as well.
Blue Moon Bar includes four bars. Each of these are on different floors and play various kinds of music. If cigars, good music and dancers atop tables are what you are looking for in this Swedish county, then go ahead and have a blast!
At one time, Spy Bar used to be a grand apartment, which was spacious with high ceilings. It has now been converted into a top notch nightclub. This is the place to be seen and it's very likely that you'll bump into your favorite celebrity here. The bouncers are picky about whom they let in, so look sharp and be prepared to wait. See website for admission and other details. Every room has its own style and theme. The interior ranges from clean and simple, to plush adornment in gold and velvet. The VIP room is curtained off, to keep those peering eyes out.
This nightclub vibrates with glamor and glitz, and attracts celebrities and the rich. You should try the food, which consists of a blend of Swedish, French and crossover cooking. The high standards are followed religiously. The prices are not quite as high as you might expect.
In Stureplan, the hot spot that also hosts Leroy and Spybar, The Lab is a great alternative to the more posh destinations nearby. Populated, like the rest of Sweden, with beautiful people, one doesn't have to dress to the nines to gain admission (but no athletic shoes, of course). Locals who hang out there are friendly and open to conversation with the wandering traveller.
Oxid is a lively and popular spot right next to the Humlegården. In this trendy restaurant and bar you can order up an array of traditional Spanish Tapas and larger plates like Patatas Bravas and Paella along with some not-so-traditional ones like Caprese Salad and Nachos. Later into the night, Oxid becomes a happening nightclub, with a renowned list of specialty cocktails and a DJ.
Being one of the few places in Stockholm that is open till late, Köket is the final destination for party-goers. The beautiful people and the good music make the place totally hot and definitely worth a visit.
This club is known for its raw, unfiltered culture. Live performances, live music, poetry, comedy and ambient techno DJs are amongst what you find here. Anything could happen, and it usually does when Sekt goes for it!
Like an oasis in the middle of the city, between the bustling streets of Malmskillnadsgatan och Regeringsgatan, Glenn Miller Café has been a haven for jazz lovers ever since. Without changing the style or altering the decor, this place has managed to stay popular for generations. On certain nights, live jazz is played by high brow bands. Mostly, jazz lovers bring their own favorite jazz records to play on vinyl, of course. They would consider CD-players an insult. The venue is very small but extremely pleasant. The walls are covered with jazz photos and instruments. The food is mainly American. On the menu are burgers and steaks, but also more original and innovative crossover style meals.
Part of Sturesplans, a group of well-known establishments, White Room can easily be mistaken for a restaurant. The fresh flowers at the bar just accentuate the feeling. But as soon as the clock strikes one in the night, the party gets started and the place comes alive to the groovy tunes. The young and chic crowd who can afford the high cover charge are usually seen frequenting the place.
