This is no doctor's clinic, but an exciting bar with plenty to offer. The ambiance is very easy-going, with a friendly staff and a young clientele. The bar offers a variety of cocktails and beers at reasonable prices. For entertainment, there's DJ music, live bands, pool tables, jukebox, TV screens and lot more.

Definitely a thumbs up for Auberge du Lac on all aspects, mainly food preparation and presentation as well as the service backing it. The wine list cannot be ignored too, after all there is a long list to choose from. The French flair is maintained in the cooking even though young head chef Phil Thompson is very much British by birth! The setting in the grounds of Brocket Hall couldn't be a better location for the restaurant. If there is any question about the taste of the food served; it can be directed at the celebrities, families and regulars who keep revisiting the place.
