Founded in 1947, Rogaland Theater has three stages: Hovedscenen, Intimscenen and Kjellerscenen. As the main stage, Hovedscenen has a capacity of 375 seats, while Intimscenen has 72 seats and the Kjellarteatret (Basement Theater) is the smallest stage with the smallest seat capacity. The Sjøhusene is a complex of rental venues located in Stavanger. It consists of De Røde Sjøhusene, To Trapper op, Rødbar, Manesjen and Rødtkjøkken. As the largest venue, De Røde Sjøhusene has a big stage and a capacity of 1100, which makes it a good place to organize concerts. To Trapper op consists of several smaller venues placed on three floors with a capacity of 270 persons in total. Rødbar is a bar with a capacity of 100, and the venue above it, Manesjen (also equipped with a stage) can accommodate 70 seated spectators. As for Rødtkjøkken, it has room for 150 guests. The home stadium for the Viking F.K, the Viking Stadion offers an amazing spectator experience in its well-equipped facility. The stadium can accommodate about 16,300 people, of which 15,800 can be seated, and it also has about 1,040 VIP seats. Not just for football, the Viking Stadion also doubles as a concert venue with many known artists having had played here over the years. So this venue is a must visit for not just the sports fanatics, but it also caters to the interests of music fans.
Head to the Town Centre at Sandnes for a night of live music and entertainment. Located to the north of the city of Sandnes, this venue hosts performances by various local as well as international artists. Though the name Town Centre sounds official, there is absolutely nothing official about it.
