The open air ground, nestled amidst the dense forest and close to the shore in the south of Stavern, has been a venue for the Stavernfestivalen ever since it was first held in 2001. The ground is large enough to provide camping, food, sanitation and other basic facilities for the huge crowd that converge during the multiple days fest. In 2012, close to 30,000 music lovers attended the annual rock and pop music festival that invites various national and international artists/ bands. The Minnehallen (Hall of Remembrance) is located close to the venue, and partially also serves as the backdrop for concerts.
Bakkenteigen Kulturhus is truly a house of culture, what with the vast assortment of cultural activities it plays host to. Associated with Vestfold University College, it is a venue where you will always find something interesting going on, be it a play, concert or musical. The center can accommodate about 450 people, and is even used as the site for meetings and seminars.
Built in 1844, this stone building is a part of the Norwegian Mining Museum. It is home to Smeltehytta, a ballroom which underwent a renovation in 1986 and was re-opened in a grand ceremony by King Olav V. Smeltehytta is mostly used as a banquet and concert venue and is also used for the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.

Marienlyst Stadion opened to the public in 1924 and is located in Strømsø and is used for soccer and ice skating. It also offers service facilities for athletics. The stadion has been Strømsgodset IF's home turf since 1967 and has hosted some major champion leagues in the past.
Drammen Handball Club's home turf and hosts to major sports events, concerts and exhibitions, Drammenshallen has seen a lot of glamor, victory, losses and glory in the many years since its inception in 1978. It is one of the biggest sports complexes of the neighborhood and has four handball courts, a gymnasium, weight training room, speilsal and meeting rooms for hire. In the 80's it was a major concert hub and has had over 113 shows with the world's leading artists such as Boney M, Whitney Houston, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and more gracing its stage. It has also been a venue for championship games in the past.

As old as the city itself, Drammen Theater is a name that has long been associated with Norwegian arts. The original theater complex was built in 1806, which was later relocated to the Bragernes Center in 1839. The present day theater was rebuilt in 1997 after being gutted by fire in 1993. The Renaissance style theater is comprised of a main stage (capacity:420), center stage (capacity:209) and a cafe (capacity:100); each venue available for hosting events, seminars, meetings and conferences. Advanced acoustics and lighting add to the dramatic effect of events staged - be it a concert or a recital.
Although smaller than the regular concert venues, Buddy never falls short of providing an excellent experience both for the performers as well as the audience. This intimate live music club was opened in 2005 and since then has catered to the varied music sensibilities of the local crowd by hosting rock, country, folk, blues, metal and jazz performances by local and international artists/ bands.
