    Set in a neo-Georgian style, red bricked, limestone trimmed building, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1929, though it opened its doors in 1931. Their permanent collection features Oriental and Decorative Art, sculptures, 19th and early 20th-century American artwork and Old Masters. It also holds temporary exhibits by new artists delving into folk and other similar art forms. They also have various classes for all ages with weaving and photography being popular choices. Their gift shop is a great place to buy unique jewelry, glassware, handcrafted items and books.
