The Firemen’s Monument is a distinguished monument in Hoboken, Hudson County in New Jersey. It was designed by renowned American sculptor Caspar Buberl. The basic motive behind the construction of the monument was to commemorate the Volunteer Fire Department in Church Square Park. It was built on May 30, 1891. The structure occupies less than an acre of land area. Approximately 12 feet (3.6 meters) high, the statue is set up on a marble plinth. The depiction of overlapping horses and ladders add to it enchanting beauty. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 30, 1986.
