San Angelo Symphony's annual Town & Country July Pops Concert is
Adjacent to El Paseo de Santa Angela Courtyard along the Concho River, the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage is a multi-purpose city facility that is available for touring musicals, dance reviews, pop concerts, melodramas, youth shows, band concerts and the annual Cactus Jazz and Blues Festival held each September.
The family owned and operated Producers Livestock Auction Co. "serves the stockmen of west Texas with a sheep and goat sale every Tuesday and a cattle sale every Thursday." Producers is the largest cattle auction in the southwest and the largest sheep auction in the United States.
A wide variety of stage productions can be seen at the Angelo Civic Theatre each year.
The Foster Field is the home ground to the San Angelo Colts and the Angelo State University Rams Baseball teams. Originally named as the Colts Stadium, the stadium was built in the early 1950s when baseball was becoming a sensation in the United States. There are around four thousand seats to accommodate spectators thus, making the Foster Field one of the biggest baseball stadiums in the county. The San Angelo Colts are a professional United League Baseball team. Home games are played at Foster Field at Angelo State University.
Located on the campus of Angelo State University, Junell Center-Stephens Arena is a multi-purpose arena that is home to the university's basketball and volleyball teams. Over the past, a number of tournaments and championships have been hosted here. The center also hosts cultural events, lectures and community gatherings. It provides ace facilities like comfortable seats, video screens and a Hall of Fame that features the achievements of the university's athletes. What was built as the San Angelo Coliseum in 1959 has now been transformed into the Foster Communications Coliseum, the venue for many of San Angelo's important events. Constructed for the singular purpose of serving as the home of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, it is now a multi-purpose arena that seats 5260. Apart from sporting events, this arena also serves as the venue for numerous concerts, exhibits ans trade fairs during the course of the year.
