The Plaza has five department stores—Dillard's and Sears. A movie theater and an arcade with a miniature golf course will keep you entertained, too. Northwest Plaza is less than a mile away from Lambert Airport.

Pitaya is a trendy boutique that does not follow the "boutiques are expensive" stereotype. The prices are comparable to anything you'd find at the mall, but the clothing is much more unique. Pitaya is bursting with bright colors, chic designs, and plenty of options. You'll find tops, bottoms, dresses, accessories, lingerie and more. A lot of their clothing focuses more on hitting you with the color than wowing you with a complicated design, but you can still find the occasional fun print. You are bound to find something that fits your style and budget. -Rease Kirchner
