The serene Sudbook stream along with the Latchmere stream tributary serve the areas of Ham, north of Kingston upon Thames and Petersham. The streams are a part of the River Thames and Sudbrook finds its origins at the Dann’s Pond at Richmond Park. Needless to say, Sudbrook is surrounded by natural habitat that runs the entire course of the stream. Some ponds lie around the streams. These ponds were constructed to provide water for the grazing deer.

Beautifully shaped, the Isleworth Ait is a spectacular island lying in the River Thames. This tiny mass of land spans across an area of 3.5 hectares (8.6 acres). Lying in the Hounslow, borough, the island is characterized with dense trees and provides habitat to a range of wildlife including flora and fauna. The island is prone to flooding. Home to a huge number of bird species, one can easily spot heron, tree-creeper and kingfisher here.
The Bank of England Ground is a cricket pitch located in Roehampton, England. It is a part of the Bank of England's Sports Centre and is rented out to parties on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in the summer season. It has hosted matches played the Women's Cricket Association, Oxford university and many Second Xi Championship matches between 1971 and 1982. It has also hosted a single Women's One day International match between Ireland and Australia during the 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup. It is the home venue of the Bank of England Cricket Club in local domestic matches. The ground is used for football matches in between the cricket seasons.
The Championship Course is a historic and popular boat racing course on the River Thames. With a distance of 4 miles (6.7 kilometers), it is marked by two stone posts on either of the ends at Chiswick bridge and the Putney bridge. Boat races take place according to the tidal flow of the river and both the landmark bridges can serve as starting points and ending points. The famous annual Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race takes place on the Championship Course along with various other events such as Scullers Head, Veterans Head, Head of the River Races and the Boustead Cup. A historic international match between the universities of Oxford and Harvard took place here in 1869 and is considered to be the landmark event which piqued the interest of many noted educational institutions in the United States to take up the sport of rowing. Today there are many rowing clubs located along the course where visitors can get an experience of the challenging sport.

Beginning at Kingston upon Thames, the path continues to finish at the Box Hill & Westhumble Railway Station. Needless to say, the trail is lined with greenery and beautiful sites of nature. Encompassing many settlements, the Thames Down Link is extremely popular with hikers.

Located at the southeast end of Barnes and Putney Lower Common, the site spans across a region of 49.55 hectares (122.4 acres). The region is protected as a Local Nature Reserve.
