The White Stripes, The Black Keys and now...White Mystery. Apparently if you're a duo looking to make garage-inspired blues rock these days, a two-word black/white combo name makes for a good template. The Chicago-based White Mystery is a brother/sister duo of guitar and drums based heavily upon the wailing, soulful croon of Alex White. Thrashing along behind her, Francis Scott Key White does a fantastic job keeping pace with the raucous material being belted out by his sister. The frizzed-out, puffs of red hair owned by the two make for interesting viewing as the duo cranks out its almost punk rock take on modern blues.

Emma Ruth Rundle is a singer/songwriter and musician who is known for experimenting with droning electronic textures and folk music. Though she rose to recognition for her work as the guitarist of Red Sparowes and the vocalist and guitarist of Marriages and The Nocturnes, she struck her solo career with the release of her debut record Electric Guitar One, in 2014. The EP exposed her ambient folk for the first time and established her as an artist in her own right. Rundle dropped her first full-length LP, titled Some Heavy Ocean, later the same year and subsequently captured an international audience with her experimental compositions and gentle vocals.

    Allo Darlin'
    Last Exit LiveOctober 21, 2014 8:00 PM
    717 S Central Ave
    Phoenix, AZ 85004
With two band members hailing from Australia and two from Kent, England, Allo Darlin' is a fairly diverse bunch. Meeting in London, the band members were all friends before they decided to make music together seriously. Forming an official band in 2009, Allo Darlin' makes charming, sunny indie pop that includes a ukulele and lap steel in many songs. Immediately grabbing the attention of BBC 1 in the UK, the band received radio airplay within the year of its inception and played sold out shows throughout Sweden and Germany. With its eye on the US next, Allo Darlin' recently embarked on a tour throughout the country.

    Phoenix, AZ 85003
Superhumanoids is an indie pop band from Los Angeles that grew from a relatively unpresumptuous bedroom project to an out-of-this-world live show that has many wondering whether the band is the next big thing in indie rock. Having successfully concocted a musical style that defies classification, Superhumanoids has already achieved a milestone with its music that many similar indie bands only hope for. The band's debut album, Urgency, was released in 2010 to an unprecedented amount of critical acclaim in the US and the UK, leaving many to wonder in anticipation what's next for one of the greatest indie bands to come out of nowhere.
