History: After working for some years in the theatre outside of New York I moved here and studied with the renowned Lee Strasburg in his Master Class and at The Actors Studio and worked three years in the Workshop of the legendary Bobby Lewis to hone my craft as an actress. My professional life has been spent performing in comedies and dramas in classic American theatre, original plays, and in film, and TV. For three years I taught acting in the Tisch Undergraduate Studio Program at New York University. I had never performed in a musical. The time had come to enter the wonderful world of performing as a singer. I searched for the very best people to guide and teach me. For the past three years I have been fortunate to work with the Maestro and Musical Director, Mr. Barry Levitt and recently to work with and learn from the great Marilyn Maye in her Master Class and privately. After getting to know many wonderful talented, supportive, and encouraging people in the community of musical performers I feel honored to join them in the joy of presenting live musical entertainment. My debut show is called “It’s Not Me, It’s You.” I am thrilled to present this show with The Barry Levitt Quartet at the beautiful Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 20, 2014.
