All Souls Unitarian Church, now called the All Souls Unitarian Congregation, is home to a multitude of community and religious service programs on a regular basis. Attend Sunday morning services, hold religious debates and discussions, buy books on religion at the on site bookstore or simply partake in one of the group sessions organized for one and all. For all those, who love the sea, join the Shennecossett Yacht Club that offers memberships at a reasonable fee. Started in 1928, this yacht club holds numerous yacht races throughout the year and attracts several tourists and admirers. Situated amidst the beautiful surroundings, this club features a clubhouse, which consists of a covered deck, a bar, kitchen area, a fireplace and a television. The main hall can accommodate about 130 people, and is ideal for holding private parties and events. Apart from this, the club also boasts of five docks and about 191 ships.
Binding the people of the small town of East Lyme just a few miles away from Mystic, this Community Center is plays a vital role in the life of the people living here. It hosts numerous concerts, local events and private functions and is very popular among all age groups. The center is part of a complex which also houses the East Lyme Public Library. The office of the Parks & Recreation Department is also located in this center.

The Fox Hopyard Golf Club is open from March through November in the lovely Connecticut River-town of East Haddam. East Haddam Historic District is located in East Haddam, Connecticut and is spread over 110 acres (45 hectare) of land. The district is linear and runs along Route 149. It has several contributing buildings and structures, totalling to over a 100. All the buildings are constructed in Greek Revival, Federal, Late Victorian styles of architecture. It got listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 29, 1983.

The lands of the Manhanset House Hotel were the original location of the Manhanset Chapel. Since its 1924 relocation to a new address, the chapel holds a prominent position as a venue for special occasions. Randy Osofsky, the current owner of the church transformed it into an arts center. The space can be hired for private events as well as film shooting.
