Operated by the American Heart Association, this educational museum offers modern exhibits and interesting classes all designed to help us lead healthier lives. There are 24 high tech, interactive exhibits illustrating how the heart and cardiovascular system work. Open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Delaware Toy & Miniature Museum, a nonprofit organization founded by Gloria R. Hinkel and Beverly J. Thomes, is a historical reference of antique and contemporary dollhouses, miniatures and sample furniture. Dolls, toys, trains, boats, and planes, both European and American are also exhibited. Visitors can see furniture and accessories from the the 18th to 20th centuries.
