Salt River Grand Ballroom at Talking Stick ResortDecember 26, 2014 8:00 PM
9800 East Indian Bend Road
Scottsdale, AZ 85256
Formed in 1998, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers is an alternative rock band from Tempe, Arizona that is probably best known for its song that appears during the opening credits of the widely popular Mike Judge created animated TV show King of the Hill. With a sound that blends guitar driven rock with a twangy, Texas blues sonic ethos, the Peacemakers have managed to carve out a fairly respectable niche for itself in the multifaceted modern day music scene. Though the band hasn't found a sizable commercial following, it has nevertheless stayed true to its roots and hasn't disappointed its early and dedicated fan base.

Phoenix, AZ 85004
A relationship-skewering comedy that every couple will relate to, "You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up!" is a raucous look at "happily ever after" from the perspective of a couple with polarizing personalities. Written by Annabelle Gurwitch ("Dinner and a Movie") and Emmy Award winner Jeff Kahn ("The Ben Stiller Show"), it's a glimpse into a delightfully crazy marriage in which husband and wife throw good taste and decorum out the window in order to make their relationship work. If you're married -- or even ever thought about getting married -- you won't want to miss this hilarious peek inside marital bliss.
