»Toxic Holocaust & Iron Reagan - Cancelled

November 23, 2014 3:30 AM

Primarily the project of Joel Grind, Toxic Holocaust melds his various musical influences, most notably thrash metal, punk rock and glam into his own brand. Grind writes and records Toxic Holocaust's albums himself--hiring a backing band to tour with him--which has given him complete artistic control over the project. Since signing to the respected label Relapse Records, Toxic Holocaust has received attention for its deep-throated vocals that sing about a post-apocalyptic world over heavy instrumentals.

»Trivium

November 23, 2014 6:30 PM

The impressive instrumental prowess that all members of Trivium display during live shows is responsible for casting the band from relative obscurity in Florida into the global hard rock music scene. Oftentimes, heavy metal is difficult for bands to translate live because there are so many studio nuances and production methods that comprise the metal sound. But, surprisingly, Trivium is able to pull it off and create stage shows that nearly eclipse its studio sound.
