Few places in the city of Malmo embody such a unique amalgamation of old and new as Lilla Torg. With breathtakingly charming old houses surrounding the cobbled square in the heart of the Old Town, it isn't hard to imagine what life must have been like when horse-drawn carriages clipped through the streets. Come night fall, this little square turns into a veritable hub of activity, with some of the city's hottest night clubs and restaurants tucked away under the brightly colored umbrellas and medieval awnings. Stroll through the cobbled streets surrounding the square and discover the mouth-watering array of International cuisines represented in the little stalls, shops and open-air eateries that spring up during the summer months. Just a short walk from the square, food enthusiasts can check out the Malmö Saluhall, a covered market offering up an incredible array of gastronomic delights.
