Amen Dunes is the recording project of Damon McMahon. Originally from New York but now based in Beijing, McMahon retreated to the Catskill Mountains to record DIA, his well-received debut of engagingly insular, tape-saturated, psychedelic folk. Live, McMahon is joined by a backing band that adds gently blissed-out arrangements but allows his intriguingly off-beat musical to still shine at the center of their performances.

The Kopecky Family Band may not be related by blood but there's definitely a family vibe to their easygoing style of twee, country-tinged indie rock. The band trades off call and response boy-girl vocals over a bed of guitars, drums, bass, cello and violin. From their beginnings inside a practice room at Belmont University, the Kopecky Family Band has been making unpretentious, feel-good music since 2007.

Kent, OH 44240
Middleburg, FL-based band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus first came to prominence around the time of the commercialization of emo-pop in the early 2000s, among bands like Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance. After gaining a strong local following, the group finally garnered major label attention and released an acclaimed debut album in 2006. While Red Jumpsuit Apparatus adheres to the standard musical style of bands within its genre, it stands apart due to its philanthropic notions; many of its songs have anti-domestic violence and anti-suicide themes.
