»Hørsholm Kirke

Hørsholm Kirke is a historic church in its namesake city. Nestled on a serene island, surrounded by lakes and landscapes, it occupies the site of the Hørsholm Palace. The royal palace, that witnessed the legend of Queen Caroline Mathilde, was demolished in 1813, and the church was built a decade later by the great architect, CF Hansen. »Gl. Holte Kirke

Gl. Holte Kirke was established in 1966 when the parish became an independent entity. The congregation practiced from a makeshift structure until 1978, when the new church building was consecrated. Designed by Halldor Gunnløgsson and Jørn Nielsen Erik Reitzel, the red-brick building is one of the more unique church edifices in the city. The striking hexagonal tower is the defining element of the church building. Church interiors are equally intriguing, with the designs being influenced by the Star of David.
