»Halmstad City Airport

Connecting Halmstad with the rest of the country, the Halmstad City Airport is a small airport to the northwest of the city of Halmstad. Flights from Nextjet and Kullaflyg airlines take off and land in this airport. The airport has one runway which has an asphalt surface ensures the smooth landing of planes. The dimensions of the runway 2261 meters by 40 meters (7418 by 131 feet). Although quite small, the airport sees at least 77 flights depart in one week and offers trips to four cities on a non-stop basis.

»S:t Olofs Kapell

S:t Olofs Kapell is located in Tylösand and its history can be traced back to the the 18th century. Earlier this church was demolished and built as a house in Lidhult. Eric Salvén bought this house in 20th century and rebuilt the church. Presently, this church is a place of worship and a venue for conducting weddings, baptisms and funerals. Though smaller than many chapels in the world, this chapel is one of the most beautiful chapels in the region and ideal for hosting wedding ceremonies.

»Saint Lawrence Church

The history of this beautiful church can be traced from 1300s. Situated in Falkenberg old town, this church was the towns parish church during that era and was later burnt down during the period of northern seven years’ wars (1563-1570). After the wars, the church was rebuilt with the help of taxes from people. This building was replaced with another church in 1892 and was used as concert and gymnastics hall. Saint Lawrence church went through major renovations in 1903 and was used for religious purposes from 1928 to present times.

»Falkenbergs Kyrka

The beautiful stone church, Falkenburg Kryka is located on Nygatan - a commanding presence, thanks to its impressive Gothic Revival facade. The church is located at the town center and was consecrated in 1892. Over the years, it has been renovated a couple to times to meet the requirements of the cohort era. Nevertheless, the interiors are just as impressive as the exteriors, some interesting artworks inside include the baptismal font of 1885 and the crucifix designed by artist Tore Heby. As such, Falkenbergs Kyrka belongs to the Diocese of Gothenburg, and still offers regular worship and services such as baptisms, communions, weddings and such.
