Show Title: To Be Announced @ Corn
The CornservatoryJanuary 29, 2015 8:00 PM
4210 North Lincoln Avenue
Chicago, IL 60618
TBA, the talented troupe who won Season 23 of The Original Improv Gladiators but couldn't decide on a name, now brings their equally indecisive flair to "Show Title: To Be Announced" at Chicago's famed Cornservatory. Though they may have trouble deciding what to call themselves, this six-member ensemble is definitely more decisive when it comes to their style of comedy. TBA specializes in putting their satirical spin on everyday issues set in a single location, to come up with off-the-cuff sketches like "Ukrainian bath house quarrel" and more.

Haley Fohr makes her experimental, lo-fi music under the name Circuit Des Yeux. Her droning voice sounds organic, but, at the same time, it gives her music a quality that feels out of this world. Circuit Des Yeux's debut album, 2009's Sirenum, exposed her as an ambitious lyricist and an avant-garde music maker. Fohr released her album Portrait in 2011 with De Stijl Records.

Four talented actors play 17 roles in this Off-Broadway hit at St. Charles' Pheasant Run Resort, which focuses on a New York detective hot on the trail of a serial killer, whose M.O. includes donning a series of disguises to off older women. But meanwhile, the investigator's got his own issues with his meddling mother and glamorous girlfriend, who may just find themselves mixed up in his murderous case. Douglas J. Cohen's musical comedy is based on the novel by William Goldman ("The Princess Bride", "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"), which was also adapted into a movie starring Rod Steiger and George Segal.

1802 W Berenice Ave
Chicago, IL 60613
Middle age can be tough, but at least you still have your friends, right? The story of "Red Bud" centers on a group of buddies who try to celebrate the good old days during a camping trip to a championship motorcycle race. What used to be an exciting annual event has turned sour as the group has grown apart over the years. To make matters worse, one of the guys decides to bring along his 19-year-old girlfriend, throwing off the friends' former dynamic. Old friendships may die hard, but emotional baggage, frustration and weirdness have worn the group down in this Signal Ensemble Theatre production.
