Formerly the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Cornerstone Baptist Church, the circa 1887 Paul G. Reitz Theater in downtown DuBois is home of Cultural Resources Inc. and the Reitz Theater Players. A non-profit organization, CRI's mission is "to provide a center for the performing arts and to foster and broaden community opportunity to enjoy the arts through a year-round schedule of events and performances."
"One of the oldest, continuously running community theater groups in the area," PTAG performs three major shows a year. These include comedies, Broadway musicals, mysteries, dramas, and children's theater presentations. Performances are held at the Punxsutawney Area High School or Middle School.
Community-oriented, alcohol-free celebration of the visual and performing arts. It is best known for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's largest ice sculptural display. Held on New Year's Eve.
Founded in 1997, Punxsutawney Area Community Center is located in a former high school that was built in the 1930s. The aim of this facility is to be the nave for all recreational and cultural purposes for the neighborhood. Offering various services and programs for all ages, it features a fitness zone, theater, auditorium and meeting rooms. Their SilversSneakers is specifically designed for those above the age of 50 years to encourage physical activity among the seniors.

The Clearfield Fairground is one of the most sought out in the city of Clearfield. As the summer winds blow by, the fairgrounds prepare itself to welcome the annual county fair. During this time, the grounds come alive and are buzzing with activities ranging from shows, events, exhibitions, competitions along with offering building and ground rentals. A non-profit community organization, CAST was formed to offer live theater, music, and dance as a way of involving and entertaining the citizens of the area. Dance, art, yoga, and gymnastic classes are also offered.
