The entire family will love this portion of the Deep Ellum Latino Cultural Center. The historic building location was the Southland Corporation's first 7-11 market store. With an eclectic eye for entertainment, this beautifully restored market's featured presentations have included Latino Literature Night, highlighting the reading talent of the Cara Mia Theater Company, the yearly Virgen de Guadalupe presentation curated by artist Jose Vargas, and dance by the Ollin-Tonatiuh Aztec Dancers. The Ice House depends heavily on funding from the city and private benefactors. Seating is comfortably assembled around the stage area so that everyone has a good seat. Admission is free.

Bishop Arts Theater Center after renovations has become the cultural hub of Dallas city. Rock and Jazz performances along with arts education programs draw art lovers from all quarters. The story of the Kessler Theater began in the 1940s, when it was opened as a cinema hall. However, by the next decade, the theater had closed, and the following decades saw the building change many hands, till in the late 1990s, it lay vacant and neglected. Since the early years of the 21st Century, there were efforts to revive the theater and convert it into a multi-purpose venue, with a focus on cultural events. The Loft, can be safely called the most exciting loft in Dallas. Old by a few years, it has become the most sought-after venue for concerts and live performances. Music genres include rock, pop and hip-hop. It is located within Gilley's Dallas complex, above the Palladium Ballroom. The best attraction of the place is the wonderful view of downtown Dallas that it offers its guests. Located within the Gilley's Dallas complex, the Palladium Ballroom is a recent addition to the entertainment scene of downtown Dallas. A large space that can accommodate around 2600 guests, the Ballroom has been a venue for several concerts by touring bands and artistes. Upstairs from the Ballroom, one can find The Loft. The size of the Ballroom makes it ideal for dance parties, corporate cocktail parties or dinners. The Ballroom is a non-smoking venue but an outdoor patio has been provided for smoking. Earlier called the Dallas Convention Center, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is among the premier convention centers in town. This massive space is linked to the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel. It comprises of an auditorium, a theater, 105 meeting rooms, a couple of ballrooms and a colossal exhibit hall which is touted to be the largest in the nation. This avant-garde center also boasts to have the world's biggest helipad on its roof. It is used for trade shows, parties, receptions and corporate events.
Founded in 1979, this nonprofit organization was formerly known as the Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters. Today it gives Dallas a variety of cultural offerings and is the best attended of Dallas' African-American theaters. Most of the performances are touring shows on the national Black Theater Circuit. An annual tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. features local gospel choirs, international drum and dance by the KanKouran West African Dance company, poetry, art, and many film screenings.
