The Del Mar Fairgrounds has been a self supporting asset of the 22nd District Agricultural Association. It is the venue for the famous San Diego County Fair. It also operates the Surfside Race Place, an all year satellite horse racing facility. It also hosts several trade shows, exhibitions, fairs and music festivals.
