Cincinnati five-piece, Black Veil Brides, plays a streamlined version of post-hardcore that
takes the aggressive thrash of metalcore and melds it with glossy pop-punk. The
band formed in 2006 and went through a couple of different names and members
before settling on Black Veil Brides and gaining local notoriety with showings
in Battle of the Bands showcases. Its debut album, We Stitch These Wounds ranked
#1 on the Billboard Independent chart the week of its release in 2010.
