Situated on the site of a historic Tocobaga Indian shell mound on the shore of the Old Tampa Bay, this Florida history and archaeology museum features artifacts about this regional area from prehistoric times to Aboriginal Indians and pioneers.
The Plumb House stands eloquent as a monumental home site in the Clearwater city of the U.S. State of Florida. Its construction dates back to 1896. It was basically used as a paint store on the ground floor. Further, the second floor of the house stood as apartments. It currently houses the Plumb House Museum. The museum is a host to an array of vintage furnishings, photographs and historical artifacts.
Located in the original station for the Orange Belt Railroad System that dates back to 1889, this museum houses approximately 2,000 artifacts, 2,500 photographs, and a library containing 200 volumes, all of which depict the history of Dunedin and Pinellas County.
Focusing on the works of contemporary artists, this hands-on museum showcases Florida's fine art in their three exhibition galleries. There are also ten classrooms in the museum and many art activities for both the young and old are available.

If you are a vintage car enthusiast, then the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum is a must on your itinerary when visiting the city. Opened in 2005, their collection is a range of automobiles from the 1920s through to the 1930s that were known for their engineering marvel. These cars were the pioneers of that era that set a trend for the future of vehicles. It features cars from all across the world such as the E from France, Tatra T87 from Czechoslovakia, DKW Meisterklasse from Germany and the American Ruxton.
The Leepa Rattner Museum of Art is situated on the campus of St. Petersburg College, Tarpon Springs, Florida. It is one of three buildings in the 53,000 square-foot (4923 square-meter) complex and organizes varied art exhibitions throughout the year. The museum preserves paintings and modern art work by Abraham Rattner, and also showcases contemporary sculpture. Safford House is a historic landmark in Tarpon Springs. This home was named after its proprietor and then Governor of Arizona Territory Anson P. K. Safford. Built in 1883, it illustrates the Victorian style of architecture and retains most of its original interiors and furnishing. Craftsman House is a gallery that showcases contemporary art works. The lush green lawns and beautiful garden welcome visitors in to this creative space. Here, you will see umpteen art works displayed; jewelry, glass designs and much more work of local and national artists make for its splendid collection.
