Kindness is an electronics-infused indie pop project from the UK. Appearing on the scene with scarce information available and a name that is averse to Google searches, it was ultimately determined that the group's music was the work of one man. Combining electro, disco and psychedelic elements with his spacey spin on pop, Kindness fits nicely into the modern dance-inflected indie landscape and is set to appear 2012's South by Southwest, where his acclaim is sure to expand even further.

Engineers and scientists need to communicate effectively to lead and work in increasingly complex and diverse projects and workplaces. With global/multicultural partners, increased specialization, and constant technological developments and change, engineers and scientists are constantly challenged to effectively impact and lead their teams.In this interactive class the participants will be engaged and practice communications practices which will increase their impact in the jobs. Designed for those whose success rests on their ability to: be understood by a diverse group; to influence others in the performance of their job; and to create positive working relationships. The workshop focuses on skills that will impact their ability to communicate with others and lead in the achievement of the projects desired outcomes. GIC is a certified Certified Management Consultant (CMC) course provider. This program provides the course required in the steps to obtain a CMC designation. Conditions and regulations about CMC designation can be found on the CMC-Canada website. ObjectiveEngineers and scientists need to communicate effectively to lead and work in increasingly complex and diverse projects and workplaces. With global and multicultural partners, increased specialization, and constant technological developments and change, engineers and scientists are constantly challenged to effectively impact and lead their teams. This workshop will give the participants the skills to effectively communicate and lead their projects. Participants will explore their communication challenges using practical examples and case studies. Participants will develop the ability to analyse complex communications challenges and find resolutions that they can apply immediately to your work.
