Pirates Cove bills itself as the 'Original Adventure Golf' center and whether you like the swaashbuckler's theme or not, it's a great place to spend the day playing mini-golf. The two 18-hole courses here offer a few challenging holes and it's perfect for kids as well as adults who want to keep down their handicap. During your trek around the links, you will have to stroke over footbridges and walk through caves without losing your ball. The first course is designed for senior citizens and families who may not seek the extreme adventure and the second course is for those with a little more stamina, as it has steeper hills and more challenging obstacles.
This Branson golf course is so busy that you have to reserve your tee time at least a week in advance. You will enjoy the rolling hills, lakes and creeks that come into play on this resort-style course, which was designed by Mike Riley. Non-metal spikes are the general policy and a collared shirt is required for anyone on the greens. Club rental is available on the premises from the pro-shop as well as balls and carts. While here, you can drop in at the restaurant or snack bar for a bite to eat, or just sit back and relax in the clubhouse.
Adventure Ziplines of Branson is conveniently located behind the Tanger Outlet Center, just minutes from the famous Strip. Each guided canopy tour includes seven breathtaking zip-lines, the last of which allows you to race your partner to the finish. Additionally, there are three rope bridges to get your heart pumping, and at the end each guest receives an ATV ride with one of their certified guides. This locally owned and operated family fun park is so popular that it has five different locations around Branson. The go-cart tracks—miniature versions of professional race tracks—are the main attractions here. There are all sorts of tracks, including some wild multi-story wooden tracks that look like mini roller coasters. Depending on which location you choose, there are a number of other attractions and activities such as bumper boats, thrill rides, ice cream parlors and miniature golf. Prices vary per activity.
This park is one of many held under the larger umbrella that is Silver Dollar City. White Water Park features a tropical theme throughout the property and it has plenty of rides for people of all ages. For kids, 'Splashaway Cay' is perfect due to its low-level thrills, and for adults, Kapau Falls provides a rush of adrenaline. In addition to rides, the park has events all summer, like 'dive-in movies' and fireworks.
Come down here to try your racing skills while seated in high-speed Sodi bumper/go-karts that fly at top speeds of 45 miles per hour! Both race tracks are fun for all ages, the first (and larger) track is meant for adults and the second is just for the kids. There is no need to provide a license while driving here either, however there are some height requirements and qualifications to use different types of karts. If you still seek more adrenaline, the Sky Surfer experience right next door provides more of the fun-fueled excitement.

This preserved area of the Ozarks located just outside of the Shepherd of the Hills neighborhood is a place of beauty and tranquility. More than 1500 acres of oak and hickory trees undulate over the hills where joggers, hikers and bikers mill about. The area is named after Paul Henning, the creator of old Hollywood TV shows like The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. It was named as such due to the fact that he donated the land previous to its use as a public space. There are several interpretive trails that are perfect for all ages and it's one of the closest places to escape the hustle-and-bustle of Branson without really going too far.
This 18-hole championship golf course is located on the Pointe Royale Condominium Resort, where the greens undulate in Bent and Bermuda grass and the people of Branson come to chip and put. The course is suitable for all-levels of play, from 'scratch' pros to younger kids. The course has a pro shop, driving range and a subdued lounge, perfect for a drink after the game. If you're staying at the resort, the course has specials and tee-time reservation is much easier.
Moonshine Beach Park is part of Table Rock State Park. The sand is softer in this little part of the Ozarks and it offers ample opportunities for activities under the sun. Here visitors can go fishing, hiking or take the bike on the trails around the beach. It's perfect for large groups because the veranda can hold over 75 people comfortably who want to grill, play volleyball or go for a swim without all the crowds.

In this case, the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area is right in the heart of Branson just off the bustling Strip. There are two main trails inside this hidden forest, the first one leads to Old Soldier's Cave and waterfall. The second trail provides visitors with an easier stroll that doesn't require too much effort. Moreover, it's the ideal spot to visit if you are staying in town and want to see some real Ozark country, but cannot make a full excursion to the backwoods.
