From over 300 intaglios located in Southwest America, this one in Blythe is one of the most renowned. Reportedly made by the Mohave and Quechan Indians, these 500 to 2000 year-old depictions represent the creator of life Mastamho. Enormous figures of humans and animals are carved directly onto the earth’s surface. The largest of the collection is a 171-feet (52-meter) human figure that is best-viewed aerially.
