A legendary, non-commercial party and events location for people who feel it necessary to doll themselves up with trendy accessories to look and feel good. The former old Fösse swimming pool changing rooms act perfectly as the backstage area for chaotic festivals, theme and revival parties. It is not only well known bands which enthuse about the stage here, but also unknown ones, who might get a chance to perform live. The entrance fee rarely costs more and in the Mittwochs Café you can sometimes even experience the music of the rising generation of Hanoverian musicians for free. The prices of snacks, which you can get until 11p, are also to be envied.
Frosch which literally means "Frog" in German and the bar is cherished by its regular patrons. The beer garden is cozy and the food is cheap and tasty. Karaoke nights are a hit here, along with the ever popular smoked trout. Try the pepper steak, fried pork cutlet and fish fillet with bacon and potato salad as well.
This unusual cafe is the right address for those who cannot normally stomach breakfast before tasting the first brew of the morning. People who breakfast in Doko Deli, however have a right to feel a bit pleased with themselves... Not only does breakfast come in many shapes and sizes here -luxurious or hearty—a simple croissant with a cafe latte, or even an American breakfast with muffins, brownies and everything you might imagine that is pleasing to fill up on before a day's work. Most of the building houses an organic bakery, the produce of which can also be bought in the organic market and various health food shops around town. All this goes to show that in fact it is possible to feast at meal times (they also cater for the lunchtime crowds) and eat a good diet... Should you wish to indulge in a small pat on the back for your efforts, have a quick look on their ingredients list to check out exactly what's in your meal.!
Tex-mex-delicacies in a relaxed and modern bar-ambience. Not surprisingly, Fischer's has been crowded from the day it opened. From the wall, Botticellas Venus smiles dreamily, a high-tech-starry sky glitters underneath the ceiling and the wicker chairs remind you of sunnier regions. The food, too, sends your palate on a delightful journey.

If you are just an observer, you'll notice that it's a way of life for them there. Cocktails, tattoos, vampires, gloomy tunes on the piano, the morbidity and supernatural mystic are all here. Definitely not recommended for the conventional crowd. Please call for open hours.
