    »Karl Junker House

Karl Junker's House is a rare piece of architecture in today's world. Built solely by him, this house is replete with beautiful murals and intricate designs. Lovely colored glass and artwork form the walls of the house, while the interiors see winding staircases and elaborately designed dining rooms and salons. All his ideas came from his imaginary world which he believed to be real, since he was a schizophrenic. Junker lived in this house alone, which he actually wanted to share with a family. Tragically, that never happened. For those who appreciate fine art and architecture, a visit to Karl Junker's House is a must.

    »Ziegelei Lage

The history of brickmaking lies on display at the Ziegeleimuseum in Lage. However, this museum hasn't lapsed completely into antiquity - far from it. On the right days, visitors can see the actual brickmaking process fire up in the factory's kilns, machines and brick presses. Check out their website for additional info.
