»Jersey Boys

April 11, 2015 7:30 PM

Jersey Boys is a musical based on the lives of Frankie Valli and the members of The Four Seasons. The documentary-style musical follows the group's rise to fame in the early days of rock 'n' roll, with standards like "Walk Like a Man" and "Big Girls Don't Cry" filling out a smash-hit soundtrack. Shedding light on the struggle and glory of the young musical icons, the show travels back to 1960s America in big Broadway fashion, nailing the art of the period musical and breathing newlife into the story behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

The Texas Hippie Coalition (THC for short--coincidence?) is a heavy metal/hard rock band based in Denison, Texas that saw it's national profile raise sharply with the release of its debut album Rollin' in 2010. Combining the best aspects of Southern hard rock with heavy metal, Texas Hippie Coalition has stumbled upon a musical formula that has fans of those genres singing its praises. Nicknamed "The Band of Outlaws" by the band's ever growing number of fans, THC is steadily rising to become one of the Southern United States' most promising hard rock acts.
