Bill Engvall is a Texas-born comedian who was made famous for his "here's your sign" bit, a sarcastic ode to stupidity that boosted his career in the 1990s after years of struggling to find a mainstream audience. Engvall's comedic sensibilities often stem from tales of the American South, including riffs on hunting, fishing and drinking beer. His success has led to the creation of The Bill Engvall Show on TBS, and his inclusion in the highly popular Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

Culture Club is an alternative pop band from London, England that is perhaps best known for popularizing the synthetic "new romantic" genre of pop rock as well as for its famed androgynous front man Boy George. Finding a successful formula by combining the popular new wave style with various other styles such as soul, reggae and calypso, Culture Club managed to score several hits throughout the 1980s and became and iconic band throughout the US and the UK. While the band's debut album Kissing to Be Clever was the first album to have three Top 10 hits in the United States since The Beatles' debut, Culture Club's true break out success would come in the form of its second album, Colour by Numbers, released in 1983. Although the band had since disbanded and reunited briefly in the late 1990s, Culture Club has taken to the road once more with its latest reunion occurring in 2011.

During its formative days, the group managed to capitalize off Southern California's infatuation with pop-infused punk rock and become a noted sensation among younger audiences. The band captured a nation-wide fan base with its 2001 debut album Baseball: An Album by Sayanything, as well as multiple appearances as part of the Vans Warped Tour. Though it has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years, Say Anything continues to offer records of its characteristic sound that it rose to acclaim with, such as the 2012 studio album, Anarchy, My Dear.
