It was built in 1850 in the design of renowned architect Richard Upjohn and is an example of the English Gothic Revival style. One of them, the St. George's Episcopal is a historic structure which was built between 1846 and 1856. Constructed in the Romanesque Revival style, it was designed by two different architects.
