Rated 2 out of 5 by Gypsy53 lack of hospitality Not impressed with staff nor room. Upon arrival,was not acknowledged until I stepped up to counter. Mgr on duty had to answer phone but did inform me. Second clerk saw me, finished with her customer but continued to wait on other customer who walked up after me.Room was hot and musty. AC worked but not well enough to cool the entire room.Bed was not the most comfortable, a bit hard.Upon checkout I was asked about my stay and I informed the clerk about the room being hot when I arrived. She merely said "that's not good". No apology, no inquiry.I believe if one charges $15 for incidentals, they should inform the customer upon arrival, not depend on people reading "signs" when people are tired and weary from trips. Rated 1 out of 5 by disliked Room's size was alright. Bathroom was what I needed, handicapped roll-in. The smoke smell was UNBEARABLE!! Horrible stinch kids could not take it. Had to leave to another hotel the next night. Front desk was nice at check in though. But place was super packed tried calling to say I was running 5-10 min late to check out. I was left on hold for more then 15 minutes I hung up. August 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MHagin Visiting Lubbock for a baseball tournament Love staying at your hotel. The staff was very kind and checkin was quick. Breakfast was delicious and hostess where extreamly nice AND looked professional in their uniforms.While we were headed out for the day the coke machine wasn't working on the second floor. A woman that was pushing a cart and what seems to be stripping sheets from rooms. Asked if we needed a coke. Of course we replied "sure". She took our money and went ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL TO GET PURCHASE A COKE FOR US. I so wished I would have gotten her name. She didn't have to do that she offered nicely. THAT'S THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE one could ask for. When you know your employee goes above and beyond for a guest.VERY MUCH APPRICIATED HER KINDNESS. August 11, 2014
