    Originally inaugurated as the Pasadena Memorial Stadium in 1965, this stadium was renamed the Pasadena ISD's Veterans' Stadium in 2006, in an endeavor to honor war veterans.     »Hofheinz Pavilion

    Opened in 1969, Hofheinz Pavilion was named after Judge Roy Hofheinz, a Houston politician, businessman and philanthropist and an alumnus of Houston University. The 8,500 seater pavilion is a multi-purpose arena on the University of Houston's campus. It is home to the University of Houston Cougars men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the women's volleyball team. Many concerts including performances by Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Steve Martin, BB King and many have taken place here.

    The state-of-the-art Cullen Performance Hall is located on the University of Houston campus. Since 1948, it has been used for a myriad of events. These include music concerts, opera, modern dance and theatrical performances. Although the building underwent a complete renovation in 1988, it still retains its original charm. The box office opens two hours prior to shows.

    De Anda's Ballroom is the largest meeting space in Houston, and holds a range of parties and concerts that manage to pull in a lot of crowd. However, do not mistake this to be a conventional upscale ballroom facility—the place is sans all the glitter and fancy shoes.     This venue has two concert halls in one space. One of them is called The Ballroom, which has a capacity of 1500 and the other is The Studio, which can hold 150 people. Both have separate bars and restrooms, stages, sound, and lighting systems. The 1920's come alive in this Warehouse with leather sofas and strategically placed antique pieces. A lot of non-metered street parking is close by.
